I went for a bikeride this morning up to 'Snuff Mill Lane' with a hope of getting an image or two, I was disheartened to find that the area which I used to cycle around as a child has been flattened, there is nothing there now but a few fields. I seem to remeber it ran along the top of a hill which may have been a train line at one time, i'm not sure though. It is now a conservation area. This is land for public use, as well as a habitat for many types of wildlife, and nature conservationists have put a lot of time and effort into looking after it and creating paths. Residents and ecologists study the vegetation and wildlife in the area, which includes rare butterfly species and assorted animals.
