Bathing pups, Audits & Hull Fair

Todays photo is of a telephone box, just ouside work.

Well it's good old Friday again! Although I have had a reasonably good week at work, I'm glad it's Friday. Looking forward to next week as I will be 'shadowing' people on the chemicals plant and seeing what goes on, ready for my move next January into said plant.

I will have to spend next Wednesday back in the Laboratory as we have a mock FDA (American Food & Drug Administration) audit, to prepare us for the real one in a few weeks, which will spoil things a little but who cares...it's the weekend.

Just spent the last hour or so bathing and drying the puppies as tomorrow they will be advertised and ready to go to their new homes, although, wether we actually sell any is something of a concern as there has been some bad Rottweiler press recently and it may put people off.

Anyway it's Hull Fair week starting tonight, I'll try and pop along tomorrow as it should be a good opertunity for some fun photo's and to go on a few rides....and eat junkfood and sweet treats!

Kev, don't forget to take some snaps of the rides whilst you're at the fair. Don't think I'll be attending, saving up and getting ready for Nelsonica.

Geez Kevin, I don't think anyone could resist those cute puppy faces, but I'm sure they'll all find GOOD homes :-)

Did you work your magic on that telephone booth ? Or is it really snow white? LOL!!

That is awesome! I don't believe I have seen a telephone booth in 20 years. With the arrival of cell phones and such - it just seems so out of place these days yet perfectly sitting there reminding us of simpler times. Reminding me also that I have to give Dr. John a telephone call!

I love the color white of that telephone booth. I love how the white stands out with the background.

It must be hard to keep the puppies clean while people come to look. I hope they go to good homes. We just lost our Golden a month ago and have not gotten another dog.....yet...I do feel we will be getting one but it is kind of nice not to have to go out in the cold to let her out now that winter is coming.

Oh ywH...I FORGOT...Sent by Dr. John, a guy who has too much time on his hands and thinks the rest of us do, too (just kidding...we love going to his link picks!).

We just don't see phone booths like that where I live anymore. All we have are the little ones on the wall, or on a pole.

Superman (who is secretly Dr. John by day) would have a hell of a time finding a place to change here!
